Sweetwater Goodfellows work hard every year to provide toys and food for people in Nolan County that need assistance during the Christmas season. For the past 81 years, the Goodfellows have been spreading Christmas cheer to local families in need; this year, they are expanding that area and including all of Nolan County. Instead of only serving Sweetwater, they will now be taking on Roscoe, Maryneal, Nolan and Blackwell. Last year, the Goodfellows helped out almost 1,000 individuals between the 889 individuals signed up for Goodfellows and the 103 nursing home residents receiving sweatshirts.
