Three people pled guilty to Judge Glen Harrison during 32nd Judicial District Court proceedings on Tuesday.
Kenneth Gene Wiley pled guilty to theft over $100,000 but less than $200,000, a second degree felony. For his plea, Wiley received 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated for 10 years. He will have to pay a $2,000 fine, $309 in court costs and $193,354.29 in restitution to GE Energy. He will also have to serve 240 hours of community service.
The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 202 calls for service, issued 29 citations and made nine arrests from July 1-4, 2011.
The SPD received 69, 911 calls.

A memorial service for Wesley M. Huffstutler, 71, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Faith Harvest Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Huffstutler died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
ROTAN - Alene (Mitchell) Donham, 91, died Sunday July 3, 2011, at Fisher County Hospital.Â Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday July 7, 2011, at the Church of Christ in Rotan. Burial will follow at Roby Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Mary Louise Welch declared her independence from old age and frail health, passing away peacefully on Monday morning, July 4, 2011, at the age of 89 years. Louise was born in Gorman, Texas on Sept. 27, 1921 and grew up in Maryneal and Sweetwater, Texas. Louise married Charles Stamps in 1946. They had one child, Jennifer, born in 1949. In 1951, Louise married Jack Welch and they had one child, Sam Jackson Welch, who was born in 1954. Louise worked hard her entire life and eventually retired in 1996 at the age of 75.
Ira Lena Simmons, age 97, of Sweetwater, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior onÂ Sunday, July 3, 2011.Â Â Â
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas.Â Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Johnna Puckett Reynolds will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Sweetwater, located at 213 E. Third Street.
Sweetwaterâs 11-4 victory over Wylie on Tuesday in the second â and final â 10-11 year-old District 5 Little League All-Star championship game at Sweetwaterâs Major League Field represented a true âteamâ effort.

Fireworks lit up the evening sky after an entire dayâs festivities including a parade, led by local fire departments, food, vendors, childrenâs activities, live music and a dance all at âRoscoe on the bricks.â The Roscoe Volunteer Fire Department handled the fireworks to make sure everything was under control.
