There is no central repository of vaccination records. The only records that exist are the ones you or your parents were given when the vaccines were administered and the ones in the medical record of the doctor or clinic where the vaccines were given.
Teresa Slaton has been awarded the double honor of Teacher of the Year for Sweetwater Intermediate School and SISD Teacher of the Year for the 2010-2011 school year.
Slaton is a fourth grade teacher and ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher at Sweetwater Intermediate School. All of her 18 years of teaching have taken place in Sweetwater ISD.
Slaton graduated Cum Laude from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
Funeral services for James "Jimmy" LeRoy Stevens, 81, of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Keith Clowers officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Stevens died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at his residence.
Funeral services for Dan William Carter, Sr., 89, of Sweetwater, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church Chapel with Rev. Earl Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Carter died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
