Three ladies are making a difference every Thursday at Sweetwater Healthcare Center. Marie Leach, Irene Ludlum and Barbara Keeney host Bingo day every Thursday afternoon for residents of the nursing home, providing an activity for those wishing to join the group.
Leach and Ludlum have been hosting the games since the early 90s, beginning when both of their mothers were residents at the facility. "The people just enjoy it so much," said Ludlum.
"They are always glad to see us and that makes us feel great," added Leach.

A child placement trial has been set for the 4-year-old boy who was abandoned on Interstate 20 in Sweetwater last June.
Angel Flores was found covered in cactus needles after his father, Carlos Rico, allegedly choked him and left him on the side of Interstate 20.
Angel was initially placed under the care of child protective services, then given to a foster family.
Angel is still in foster care, but a trial has been set for May 21 of this year to decide his final placement.
