As the month of November comes to a close and the Holiday season begins, looking back I have found this to be a November to remember. It has been a time of trial and tribulation as well as victory in the valley. I ask myself, “What do I need to remember?” Romans 8:28 says, “And we KNOW that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”

Both main lanes of westbound Interstate 20 at the US 84 overpass in Nolan County are temporarily closed starting to allow crews to demolish and remove a bridge that was damaged after a collision in late September.
The closure is expected to remain in effect for about a week. Traffic will be detoured to US 84 Business and routed around the overpass before being directed back to westbound I-20. The 3/4 mile detour is the same route that was used immediately following the collision. Signs, cones and message boards will be in place to direct drivers.
