Sweetwaterâs big quarter came in the second when it blanked Big Spring 12-0 to take a 20-11 halftime lead.
But the Lady Mustangs actually ran off 19 straight points â beginning late in the first quarter and ending early in the third stanza â to turn an 11-5 deficit into a 24-11 advantage.
The Roscoe and Highland girls tipped off District 13-A, Division II basketball play with lopsided victories on the road Friday.

The 75 points was the highest output of the season for the Plowgirls (12-8), whose 41-point victory just missed equalling a season-best margin. Individually, Roscoe got scoring from nine different players.
