Dr. Bud E. Alldredge, 92, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab Center in Sweetwater.
There will be a family visitation Friday evening, March 29, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, 401 East Third Street in Sweetwater.
A 9:30 a.m. graveside service will be held at Sweetwater Cemetery on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. the same day at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Kary Fry officiating. Interment will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Sweetwater High Schoolâ€™s baseball and softball teams, who are off to a combined 4-1 start, resume District 4-3A action when they host Monahans today.
The 2-1 Lady Mustangs play at 5 p.m. against Mona-hans (1-2) at Jerry Collins Complex. Meanwhile, the 2-0 Mustang baseball team begins its game at 7 p.m. at Sportsmanâ€™s Park (inside Newman Park) against an 0-2 Monahans team.
The Lady Mustangs won 6-5 at Big Spring last Frid-ay to stay in a second-place tie with Snyder, one game behind district-leading Mid-land Greenwood.
ABILENE â€” Donald Baker, a senior at Sweet-water High School, lifted a total of 1,120 pounds for a 10th-place Division II finish Saturday when he competed at the Texas High School Powerlifting Associationâ€™s state meet held in Abilene.
Baker, competing in the 148-pound weight class, had a 440-pound squat, 245-pound bench press and 435-pound dead lift while making his first trip to state after a second-place regional finish.
The Sweetwater High School tennis team recent-ly played at a one-day tour-nament in Monahans.
Sweetwaterâ€™s top indivi-dual performances were by Kristen Casto, who was fourth in girls singles, and by Stephen Shipp, who won consolation in boys singles. Also, the mixed doubles team of Teresa Perez-Poe and Keygan Valdez placed fourth at the tournament.
The Sweetwater High School girls golf team currently sits in fourth place after shooting a 388 total Monday at the first 18-hole leg of the District 4-3A tournament in Big Spring.
Snyder leads with a 331 total while Monahans (336) is in second place and Wylie (385) in third place with 36 holes to play. The second 18-hole leg will be played at Sweetwater Country Club on April 6, with the final 18-hole leg April 8 at Mid-land Greenwood.
Several Sweetwater High School track athletes competed Thursday at a meet that was held in Eastland.
The varsity boys got wins from both Kaleb Hoover in the 400-meter dash and Nick Nemir in the long jump.
Nemir was second in the 300 hurdles and third in the 110 hurdles; Hoover was second in the high jump; Isaiah McGee was second in the long jump; and Jay Lomas was third in the 100 dash.
The 400-meter relay consisting of McGee, Jonathan Browning, Kris Duran and Nemir was third, as was the 800 relay of Bobby Soto, McGee, Lomas and Duran.
The JV boys had several top finishes at Eastland.
Deshaun Williams was first in the long jump and third in the high jump and 100; Marquees Jenkins was second in the 200; Brandon Gutierrez was second in the 3200; Stephen May was third in the 400; Mark Lawrence was third in the 800; and Max Nemir was third in the 300 hurdles.
Jenkins, Max Gomez, Quentin Wetsel and Williams ran on the second-place 800 relay; Lawrence, Gomez, Nemir and Wetsel ran on the second-place mile relay; and Austin Kamer, Williams, Jenkins and Gomez ran on the third-place 400 relay.

Sweetwater Fastpitch Softball Association held its opening ceremonies on Saturday at the Jerry Collins Complex.
The league includes teams in the 6-under, 8-under, 10-under, 12-under and 14-under age divisions. All of the players and their coaches were introduced to the crowd, and several games were played following the ceremonies.
