Tenaska announced that it will discontinue its development efforts for two advanced coal-fueled electric generating facilities designed to capture carbon dioxide and will focus its efforts on ongoing development of natural gas-fueled and renewable facilities to customers across the nation.
This summer, the Sweetwater campus of TSTC (Texas State Technical College) West Texas, located at 300 Homer K. Taylor Drive, will be offering Microsoft Office Short Courses from June 24 until July 26. All of the courses will be offered in the Pevehouse Building in Room 210.
Thomas Lee Donohoo III (Tis),Â 66,Â of Mission, TX,Â died on June 14, 2013.Â HeÂ passedÂ away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loved ones.Â T.L. was bornÂ in Hobbs, N.M. on Nov. 10, 1947.Â He was a graduate of Sweetwater High School. He was married to Beth Rash Donohoo from August of 1968 until her passing inÂ 1992.Â HeÂ honorably served in theÂ United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1972.Â Mr.Â Donohoo was employed by Lackâ€™sÂ Furniture for over 30 years.Â He was an avid huntsman, boatman and artifact collector.Â He also had a passion for reading and learningÂ that influenced all who knew him.Â T.L.
Lydia Marie Kafer Althof passed away on June 21, 2013, surrounded by her loving family following a long and valiant battle with Alzheimerâ€™s. She was born July 25, 1914 in Hurnville, Texas to Karl and Anna Kafer.
She married Richard Emil Althof on Nov. 4, 1934. After living many years in country, they moved to Roscoe, Texas in 1982. They celebrated 59 years of marriage.
Her treasures in her life were her family, the First Baptist Church in Roscoe, her love of God, her home and flower gardens.
