The wet and icy weather caused several wrecks in Nolan County yesterday, including one on Highway 70, just south of 153.
The patient was in stable condition after the rollover.
The Nolan County Commissioners met Monday morning to discuss several agenda items.
It was decided to leave the burn ban in place for the next two weeks as the wet weather and cold temperatures will be gone by Wednesday.
Commissioners approved the reappointment of Richard Smola as the county appointee to the Municipal Auditorium board for February 2014 to February 2016. Commissioners also approved the appointment of Myla Gibson as the joint city-county appointee to the Municipal Auditorium board for February 2014 to February 2016.
Note: The Highland girls basketball team will face Priddy or Santa Anna in a Class 1A, Division II area playoff game this week with the date, time and location to be announced. A decision on rescheduling or canceling Blackwellâs season-ending boys basketball games at Garden City will be made today.

Patsy Ruth (Tucker) Smith, age 82, of Sweetwater, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Garden of Memories officiated by Dwayne Hill, assisted by Joshuah Ellis. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 from 6-8 p.m.
Graveside services by a full U.S. Army Military Honor Guard for Lt. Col. Ret. Charles William "Larry" Lawrence, Sr., 90, of Sweetwater will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. Rev. Robert Singleton will officiate and interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Lawrence died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Nolan Nursing and Rehab in Sweetwater.
He was born July 15, 1923, in Isabel, Kan. He married Margaret Jane Thomas on March 31, 1942.
Mary Jo Brown Egger passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.
Mary Jo was born Sept. 7, 1926, at Nolan, Texas to Jesse Peyton and Noba Buchanan Brown. She attended Divide Schools graduating in May 1944.

Sylvia Shelan (nĂ©e Krawitz) passed away on Feb. 4, 2014 in Santa Rosa, CA at the age of 90 from natural causes. She was born in Okmulgee, OK in 1923 to Nathan and Nana Krawitz and raised in Tulsa, OK where she graduated from Central High School. During a brief visit to Houston in 1942, Sylvia met her future husband of 69 years, Bernard Shelan(sky).
A woman was flown to a Lubbock hospital with burns to her face and arms and is in stable condition after a faulty gas line caused a fire in her home on Sunday morning, according to emergency officials.
The fire started around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday on the 300 block of W. Texas in Sweetwater.
The Texas State Technical College West Texas LVN to RN program has received full approval from the Texas Board of Nursing. TSTC West Texas launched the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program in 2007. Since then, more than 120 students have graduated and are helping combat the nursing shortage in the West Texas region.
