Mustangs hope today isn’t the end

October 28, 2011

It won’t be Game 7 of the World Series, but the stakes for tonight’s game between Sweetwater and Brownwood at Mustang Bowl — which is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. — will be just about as high.
It’s the season finale for Sweetwater (1-2, 4-5), which must beat Brownwood to have a shot at claiming a playoff berth for the first time since 2008. The Lions come in at 1-1, 5-3 and still have a game with Wylie to end their regular season.
Snyder and Wylie, who are both 2-0 in district, will play tonight in Wylie for the outright 5-3A lead.

It is much easier to navigate, according to SEED staff members and allows the SEED staff to keep it updated in house. "The new website, along with social media connections, will assist us in making sure our community and our customers are aware of the progress Sweetwater is experiencing," said SEED Executive Director Ken Becker.

Halloween is just around the corner…and the folks at WTU Retail Energy have their costumes ready and are honing their survival skills against zombies as they tune in one of their favorite shows, AMC’s The Walking Dead. So they put our heads together, literally picking them off the floor, to help pass on some basic survival skills, in case of a zombie apocalypse.
First, you’ll need to recognize said creatures. Then, you’ll need to spot any subtle infiltrations by them.
