The speed limit changes span 60 Texas counties making it the largest conversion since a new law was passed last year. The 82nd Texas Legislature passed and the Governor signed House Bill 1353 which allows the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to establish 75 mph speed limits on Texas highways providing speed studies show it can be done safely.

TDI registers all breeds of dogs. Some dogs have pedigrees, while others have been adopted from local shelters or are rescue dogs.
While working to improve the lives of so many in Nolan County, Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital (RPMH) is receiving some vital help as well. The hospital has recently launched a renovation project that will increase the hospital’s energy efficiency and improve the medical/surgical wing.
“A lot has changed in the way buildings consume energy since our facility was first built more than 36 years ago,” said Donna Boatright, administrator of RPMH. “The impact of our renovations not only lowers our energy use, but also enhances our patients’ experience at our facility.”
