Two alumni football games slated Saturday

April 22, 2011

Most former high school football players think they will never play again. However, Texas Alumni Football is changing that, with not one but two alumni football games on Saturday at Mustang Bowl.

Texas Alumni Football is also responsible for two other Abilene-area games on Saturday. Aspermont plays Hermleigh on Aspermont's field at 2 p.m., and Stamford squares off with Haskell at Stamford's Bulldog Stadium at 7:30 p.m.

The game will be at the Sweetwater High School Gym at 7 p.m. and the teams will compete to see who wins this year's game.
