Encompass Home Health staff identified a need for this service while making home visits in and around the area. They noted that many of the elderly did not have air-conditioning or simply would not run their air-conditioner because of high utility costs. While this won’t cool an entire home, it will help keep cooler air circulating, decreasing the risk of overheating and dehydration.
