According to Sweetwater Chief of Police Brian Frieda, preliminary results on the body found along Interstate 20 on Thursday appear to be that of a "mature adult male."
Chief Frieda stated that the remains have been sent to an anthropologist at the University of North Texas. "The anthropologist will begin to try to figure out how long the body had been in out there in the median and will try to determine a cause of death. DNA samples will also be taken and put into various databases to try to determine the man's identity."
