The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) was called to the scene of a fatal crash in Jones County on U.S. Highway 180, one mile west of the intersection with Farm Road 600 at 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning.
Expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 54 today, with south-southeast winds at 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 34. Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

People in Sweetwater have heard the rumors, but now it's a reality that could bring in hundreds of jobs.Â
It's being referred to as the Cline Shale and much similar to what’s been happening in the oil industry in areas like Midland-Odessa is beginning to happen right here in the Big Country.
Sweetwater has long been known for its wind turbines, but lately there has been talk of another type of machinery headed that way.
"There's been a lot of talk about oil companies coming in," said one Sweetwater resident.
They're calling it the next oil boom.

Teachers can play a significant role in helping students learn the importance of making informed monetary decisions. As a member of The Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT), Texas National Bank was presented with the opportunity to nominate a teacher in the community who is currently promoting financial literacy.
Over $14,000 was raised for the American Heart Association by Nolan County residents, organizations and businesses in 2012, including money from the annual Nolan County Heart Walk. Money raised for the American Heart Association goes towards research about heart disease.
One local man "walked the walk" at the Nolan County Heart Walk as he has been fighting heart disease for many years.
On the first day of every month during the school year, Sweetwater Independent School District students, faculty and staff are encouraged to wear college shirts to promote furthering students' education. Shown are Inez Perez and Rebecca Moreno of east Ridge Elementary supporting their schools.

The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 47 calls for service, issued one citation and made four arrests on Jan. 3, 2013.
