Rotan High School senior Kyndra Vaught was crowned Miss Snake Charmer 2013 during the Sweetwater Jaycees annual Miss Snake Charmer scholarship pageant Thursday night at the Municipal Auditorium. Vaught is the daughter of Jeff and Tricia Hurt of Rotan and Chance Vaught of Roby.
Vaught also won the talent portion of the competition with her rendition of Sara Evansâ€™ â€śSuds in the Bucket,â€ť which she sang and accompanied herself on guitar.
Logan Orozco, a senior at Ballinger High School, was selected as first runner-up by the judges. She is the daughter of Amy Michelle Gallant of Ballinger.
