At Monday's county commissioners' meeting, Nolan County Sheriff David Warren presented the state-mandated 2012 Racial Profiling Report for the Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO), which was formally received by the commissioners.
For the 2012 calendar year, a total of 277 people were stopped by Nolan County Sheriff's Office deputies.
From the total, six contacts led to a search, in which five of those contacts consented to the search. Ten contacts resulted in an arrest, and 189 total tickets were issued.
The 2012 Annual Human Resources report for Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital (RPMH) was presented during the Nolan County Hospital District's board meeting on Monday night.
The report was given by Gay Nell Cherry, the Director of Human Resources for the hospital.
While the report follows the format from the previous year, some changes were made in the last year in order to make scoring more accurate in the evaluation process. As a result, the user-friendly tool now offers a true performance evaluation in determining scores.
The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 37 calls for service, issued no citations and made two arrests on Feb. 27, 2013.
The SPD received 20, 911 calls.

Expect partly sunny skies today with a high near 55 and north-northwest winds at 10 to 15 mph. In the morning, winds will increase to 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Tonight, we'll see partly cloudy skies and a low around 32. Winds will be from the north-northwest at 15 to 20 mph, shifting to west-northwestern winds at 5 to 10 mph in the evening. Gusts could top out at 25 mph.
