Two local women have fulfilled a dream and opened a children's boutique in Sweetwater âÂ The Princess and the Frog. "We have always wanted to open a children's boutique," said co-owner Misty Humphreys.
Humphreys and co-owner Shorie Henderson hosted a Grand Opening for their store, located at 1408 E. Broadway, Suite 1 (east entrance), with face painting and a bounce house for children attending the event.
The two will be running the store, along with Henderson's daughter, Skye Henderson.
Sweetwater City Commissioners met on Tuesday for their regular session and approved the minutes for the meeting held on June 11. The city commissioners then received the proposed 2013-2014 budget draft for review and discussion. The investment report for the quarter ending June 30 was approved as well.

This event is held at the Nolan County Coliseum and brings into Sweetwater between 400-500 people who sleep, eat and shop in Sweetwater.
