The Pioneer Museum in Sweetwater is searching for any information on this photo.
Anyone with information on who the two people in the photo are, when the photo was taken or leads to other information or to people who may have more information may call Melonnie Hicks or Betty Turner at the museum at 325-235-8547.
The hours of the museum are Tuesday through Saturday from 1-4 p.m. Any and all information is appreciated.

RPMH ER staff showed their support for Nick Barton by wearing their Nick Barton Benefit shirts this week.

Nick Barton is a Sweetwater Fire Department paramedic that was critically injured in a motorcycle accident in August. An account has been set up in his name at the 1st State Bank in Tuscola, Texas.
The Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for those to be honored as Outstanding Young Citizen, Outstanding Female Citizen and Outstanding Male Citizen for 2013. Nominations are also being accepted for Sweetwater's Business of the Year award.
Deadline for submission of nominations is 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30. Honorees will be announced at the annual Chamber Banquet planned for Monday, Sept. 30.
The Housing Authority of the City of Sweetwater, Texas presented Mr. Don McDorman with a service plaque commemorating 42 years of service, from 1971-2013, at its monthly Board meeting Wednesday, August 21, 2013, following his resignation.
Aglow International Sweetwater Community Lighthouse will have a Mexican Pile-On Dinner on Sunday, August 25th at 12:00 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 412 Newman St. Cost will be $5.00 a plate w/drink. We will also have a Silent Auction for the desserts. Everyone is invited to come.

(Irving, TX) - Every fall, more than 55 million children across the United States head back to school.Â With 13 percent of those children typically walking or biking to their classes, AAA Texas warns drivers to be especially vigilant for pedestrians before and after school hours.Â The afternoon hours are particularly dangerous â€“ over the last decade, more than one-fourth of child pedestrian fatalities occurred between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Most Texas schools start up again on August 26, so AAA Texas recommends the following tips to drivers:
(Sweetwater) - Texas State Technical College West Texas (TSTC) and Petroleum Education Council Safety Management (PEC) have joined forces to create a pipeline of well-trained, credentialed workers for the Oil & Gas Industry in Texas. TSTC will teach PECâ€™s â€śOil Field Preparation Systemâ€ť (OFPS) which is a job readiness program that prepares job seekers for the oil and gas industry. This safety-based job readiness program prepares job seekers for work in the industry on land and offshore.
Once again the Nolan County Soil and Water Conservation District has made a donation to the Kids On the Land (KOL) program and fully supports the mission of KOL and the concept of bringing agricultural education to life while out on the land. Mandi Ligon, District Conservationist in the Sweetwater office, has also provided support and leadership for the program at the 69 Ranch.
