Caleb Thompson received a surprise visit from State Representative Susan King recently.Â She presented him with aÂ Texas flag that had been flown over the State Capitol in Austin.Â This flag was presented to Caleb forÂ inspiringÂ those around him and in recognition of hisÂ extraordinaryÂ advocacyÂ work on behalf of Texans with disabilities.

Sweetwater's Isaiah McGee (5) gives out a touchdown salute while Michael Lawrence joins him in the end zone during the team's 46-14 area playoff win over Bridgeport on Friday. McGee caught two touchdown passes in the game and Lawrence one for the Mustangs, as they improved to 12-0 while advancing to face Vernon in the regional playoffs. There is a vast array of online fraud, but some scams in particular are being noticed by local banks. The most commonly seen as of late, according to bank officials, run the gamut from attempts to gather personal information to commit identity theft to false promises of companionship.
The Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce and local retailers are working together to celebrate â€śSWEET SATURDAYâ€ť on Saturday, Nov. 29 in conjunction with the nationally recognized â€śSmall Business Saturday.â€ť
