Nolan County — The Texas Department of Transportation’s Abilene District began a project this week to replace the US 84 eastbound overpass at westbound I-20 in Nolan County. The overpass was severely damaged after a collision in late September and was demolished in November to allow for a replacement.

Approval was given on two construction contract change orders for the utility relocation project by the commissioners. John Voller, the city engineer with Enprotec/Hibbs and Todd, made the presentation at the meeting.
