Milton George Bradley was born on July 29, 1927, in Temple, Texas to parents Lewis and Alberta Bradley. The second of three sons, Milton’s nickname was G Boy.
Milton Bradley attended high school in Temple, Texas. Growing up in the depression, young G Boy would sometimes have to chase jack rabbits for food and the skill helped to make him an extremely fast runner. As a track and football star in high school, he had an opportunity to race against the late, great Jessie Owens and almost beat him. Jessie Owens gave G Boy his own nickname of “Speedy”.

Wanda Sharrock Ingram

Family and friends of Wanda Sharrock Ingram celebrated her life of 77 years on Oct. 27, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Lubbock. She died on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011.
Wanda Nell was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Sweetwater, Texas to Orin Ted and Eavvie Sharrock. She graduated from Crane High School and later earned a Bachelor’s degree from Mary Hardin Baylor College in Belton, Texas. Wanda retired from Texas Utilities in 2000, after serving as a training supervisor for 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lubbock.
