ROBY â Vernon R. âCottonâ Allen, 80, former resident of Fisher County now of Snyder, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Mitchell County Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church in Roby. Burial will follow at Roby Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
