April 13th
Luis Caballero Pineda, 72,of Colorado City, TX, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Robert Lee Care Center in Robert Lee, Tx. Luis was cremated. The family will have a private family memorial service at a later date. All arrangements are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Barbara Joan Warvie, 77, of Sweetwater, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at her residence.
Her body was cremated and a service is planned for a later date.
Warvie was born June 28, 1933, in La Mesa, N.M. She had lived in Sweetwater since April of 2010 and in Tucumcari, N.M. over 20 years before that. She had worked as a cook and retired after 25 years of service.
April 12th
Sharon Sue Ford, 56, of Sweetwater, died Monday, April 11, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Ford was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ford was born April 20, 1954, in New Orleans, La. She married Glen Ford in Houma, La. Sharon was a Certified Nurse's Aide and was very compassionate about helping and caring for others. She had also worked for Popeye's Chicken in Sweetwater. She had lived in Sweetwater from 2006 until 2008 and Tyler, Texas before. She was a Baptist.

Vera Aucutt, age 84, of Roscoe, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.Â
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Sweetwater, Texas with Rev. David Weyant officiating. Burial will follow at Roscoe Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.Â
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 11, 2011, from 6-8 p.m.Â

Travis Turner, 82, of Colorado City passed away April 7, 2011. Services will be Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Family visitation will be Friday, from 6-8 p.m. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
April 7th
Westbrook — William Dalton Conaway Jr., 76, of Westbrook, TX, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Westbrook Church of Christ in Westbrook, TX. Denny Wilson will be officiating services. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011 at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Amado “Buck” Lopez, 74, of Roscoe, was born to Juan and Carmen Lopez on Sept. 13, 1936, in Shiro, Texas.
He died Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Hondo, TX with Father Ken officiating. Interment will follow at Hondo Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
April 5th
Charles F. Lescallett, 68, died Friday April 1, 2011 at Shadow Oaks Assisted Living in Aiken, SC with his daughters by his side. He married Ollie Jane Lescallett on November 8, 1966, in Reno, Nevada and she precedes him in death.
A native of Cuba, Il, Mr. Lescallett moved to Sweetwater, TX in 1978, where he resided for over 16 years. He was the son of the late Mollie Catherine Fither Lescallett. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam aboard the USS Enterprize, and retired from the Texas Workforce Commission in Sulphur Springs, TX.
April 4th
A graveside service for F.W. "Johnny" Price, 85, of San Antonio, will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Loraine Cemetery with Rev. Jason Shuttlesworth officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Price died Monday, March 4, 2011, in San Antonio.
Holy Mass of Christian Burial for Anna Lee Mueller, 50, of Roscoe, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Michael Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
A Rosary will be recited by Jim Petrie at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories.
Mueller died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
