Richard âDickâ J. Donnelly, father, brother and friend, died June 8, 2011 at the age of 58. A U.S Navy veteran and retired career transportation professional, Dick was born March 11, 1953 and was a 1971 graduate of Sweetwater High School. Dick is survived by his daughter Amanda, her husband Paul and their children, Rylie and Brody of Charleston, S.C. Dickâs four surviving brothers, family and friends are celebrating his life this July 2, 2011 at 10 a.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart, Texas.
Johnna Puckett Reynolds of Driftwood died tragically from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on June 21, 2011. Johnna had been a teacher in Texas for 21 years.
Sarona âTootsieâ Roberds, age 83 of Dallas, TX, passed away June 21, 2011. She was born May 5, 1928, in Waxahachie, TX, to G.W. Jr. and Jewel (Hazard) Whitaker. Tootsie grew up in Sweetwater, TX, where her family owned the local bakery. She spent her summers in Red Oak, TX, with her cousins, aunts and uncles. Tootsie graduated from SMU in 1948 and was employed with the Dallas ISD. She enjoyed traveling, reading and visiting beautiful gardens. Tootsie was a member of Casa View Baptist Church.
