His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, at Beltway Park Baptist Church, 4009 Beltway South.
George W. âBillâ May, 89, passed away Sunday evening, June 26, 2011, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Richard âDickâ J. Donnelly, father, brother and friend, died June 8, 2011 at the age of 58. A U.S Navy veteran and retired career transportation professional, Dick was born March 11, 1953 and was a 1971 graduate of Sweetwater High School. Dick is survived by his daughter Amanda, her husband Paul and their children, Rylie and Brody of Charleston, S.C. Dickâs four surviving brothers, family and friends are celebrating his life this July 2, 2011 at 10 a.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart, Texas.
Johnna Puckett Reynolds of Driftwood died tragically from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on June 21, 2011. Johnna had been a teacher in Texas for 21 years.
Sarona âTootsieâ Roberds, age 83 of Dallas, TX, passed away June 21, 2011.Â She was born May 5, 1928, in Waxahachie, TX, to G.W. Jr. and Jewel (Hazard) Whitaker.Â Tootsie grew up in Sweetwater, TX, where her family owned the local bakery.Â She spent her summers in Red Oak, TX, with her cousins, aunts and uncles.Â Tootsie graduated from SMU in 1948 and was employed with the Dallas ISD.Â She enjoyed traveling, reading and visiting beautiful gardens.Â Tootsie was a member of Casa View Baptist Church.
Wanda Straley, 65, of Sweetwater, passed away at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 23, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Kevin Shipp and Richard Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in the Loraine Cemetery beside her husband, directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
There will be a family visitation Sunday evening, June 26, from 6-8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
Grace Willoughby Henson, age 90 of Sweetwater, Texas went to see the Lord, Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Grace was born to the late James L. and Laura G. Willoughby, on April 9, 1921 in Roswell, New Mexico.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2011, at McCoy Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2011, at Broadway Baptist Church, with Rev. Chris Stephens and Rev. James Baker officiating. Graveside rites will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Fleta Mae Waldrop, age 93 of Seminole, Texas will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Memorial Cemetery (north). All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Waldrop passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Memorial Health Care Center in Seminole, Texas following a lengthy illness. She was born June 10, 1918 in Enid, Oklahoma to Benjamin Freeman and Ether Ethyl (Johnson). She married Levi T. Waldrop on August 15, 1936 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
