Florencio Gauna, 71, of Sweetwater, passed away Nov. 5, 2012, at Hendrick Medical Center. His body will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Florencio was born in Sweetwater and has farmed this area most his life.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Louise Garcia and husband Enrique of Bowie, Texas and Rosalinda Aguilar and husband Aaron of Pharr, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Ozella Marie Fritts of Abilene, Texas went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene. She had 95 good years on this earth. She was a member of Victory Church in Abilene, where she was known as Granny. She was born July 3, 1917 to William F. and Haddie N. Gardner in Clyde, Texas. She had four brothers and four sisters that passed on before her.
