Nancy R. Meneses, age 54, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home chapel recited by Maria Acuña.
Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Okonkwo officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Kenneth L. “Coach” Dismuke, 85, of Uvalde, passed away July 18, 2012. He was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Plava, Texas to the late Luther Jackson and Mary F. Love Dismuke. Kenneth was a coach and teacher retiring from Southwest Texas Junior College and a member of The First United Methodist Church of Uvalde.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Debbie Horton and husband Bob of Victoria; a sister, Juanita Shields of Owasso, Okla.; two grandchildren, Lindi Horton, Cody Horton and wife, Bianca; and two great-grandchildren, Haley Horton and Carly Jo Horton.

Funeral services for Kathleen Bessent Hackfeld, 79, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Chapel, 1415 Parker Street in Goldthwaite, Texas with Pastor Gilley officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Priddy, Texas under the direction of Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Janet Renee Roland, 52, of Blackwell, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Blackwell with Rev. Daniel Dotson officiating. Interment will follow at Blackwell Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Roland died Monday, July 23, 2012, in San Angelo.

Graveside services for Carl Adward Henkell, 63, of Sweetwater, will be held at 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Henkell died Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 3, 1947, in Temple, Texas. He married Mary Hoskins Kamer on July 4, 2003. Carl had lived in Sweetwater for 30 years working for Taylor Tire Company and Dent Trucking Lines as a truck driver. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Carl was a Baptist.
John W. Richardson, age 93, formerly of Sweetwater, Texas, died July 12, 2012, in McGregor, Texas. Graveside services were held at the Little Chapel by the Lake at Colonial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral home at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2012. Interment was in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Services were officiated by Rev. James Frazier.

Holy Mass of Christian Burial for Harry Dwane Stevens, 80, of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Charles Okonkwa officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be recited by Jim Petrie on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 7 p.m. at McCoy Chapel of Memories.

Melba Jo Spence Weaver went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 12, 2012, at the Seaton Hospital in Round Rock, Texas, after a short illness.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingsland Community Church in Kingsland, Texas, on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Gaylon Weaver; one son, Garon Weaver and wife Trina; three daughters, Lori Weaver, Twilla Bucksath and husband Tod and Torisa Keener and husband Dustin. She is also survived by one sister, Jimmie Ruth Kennedy and husband Jack.

Charles Henry Roberson, 85 reunited with his wife Agnes on July 13, 2012. Charles (Snook) was born in Sweetwater, Texas to Hosie and Lillie Ann Roberson on Jan. 25, 1927. He will be remembered as one of God’s special blessings sent to share his caring, gentle and loving heart. He will truly be missed.
