Our mother Mary Lavina Pruitt Boyd went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, July 9, at the same family farm in Trent, TX where her husband passed away five years prior. She was 90-years-old.
D.M. Pieper, age 92, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012, at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Deacon Bill Butler officiating.
Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Othieno officiating. Burial will follow at Roscoe Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Dorothy Lord Russell, 88 of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at McCoy Chapel of Memories. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Corsicana, TX with Rev. John Fanning officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 10, from 6-7:30 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
Russell died Monday, July 9, 2012, at her home in Sweetwater.
Funeral services for Charles D. Richburg, 79, of Roscoe, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at First United Methodist Church with his son, Lance Richburg and Rev. Jim Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Richburg died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
Funeral services for Melvin C. Martin, 92, of Dallas, formerly of Sweetwater, are pending with McCoy Funeral Home.
Martin died Friday, July 6, 2012, in Dallas.
