Mary Frances Johnson, age 71, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Hendrick Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Fourth and Elm Street Church of Christ, with Jim Wilks and Mike Crowley officiating. Interment will follow at Palava Cemetery in Palava, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
October 24th
Everett Barnes, born August 28, 1937, in Center, TX, passed away into his heavenly home on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012.
He grew up in Sweetwater and graduated from Texas Tech as an industrial engineer. He married the love of his life, Jacqueline Wicks on March 29, 1970, in Garden Grove, Calif.
Preceded him in death were his father, Chester Barnes; and his mother, Georgia (Jones) Barnes.

ROTAN - Odelia "Odie" Garcia, 52, passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at an Abilene Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at the Foursquare Church with burial in Belvieu Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at weathersbeerayfh.com
Cynthia Ann Carter Wiley, 61, of San Angelo, Texas died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at her residence.
A memorial service was held on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel and Rev. Jim Benson officiated.

Thomas Flack Young, age 6l of Superior, Colorado passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Pastor Curtis Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
BROWNWOOD — Alton C. Jackson, 84, of Brownwood Lake, Brownwood, TX entered into rest peacefully on Oct. 21, 2012 at a Brownwood hospital with his family nearby.
Alton was born March 3, 1928 in Elmore City, Okla. to parents, Jesse and Hattie Raines Jackson. He married the love of his life, Naomi Jane Brewer in Shamrock, TX in 1949.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and also his spouse.
October 20th
Graveside services for Johnny Orsak, 81, of Sweetwater, will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Roscoe Cemetery with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Orsak died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Nolan Nursing and Rehab in Sweetwater.

A Memory Mass for Armando Montemayor will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Charles Okonkwo officiating.
Montemayor passed away on Sept. 2, 2012, in Jacksonville, Ark.
October 18th
Helen Smith Allen, affectionately known as "Sissy", age 91, passed away on Oct. 18, 2012, in San Angelo, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at Mount Zion Cemetery in Fisher County, Texas under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home, 403 Locust in Sweetwater.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at First Baptist Church Chapel, 37 East Harris Avenue in San Angelo.
Family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at the funeral home.
October 12th
Sam McClure, 63, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater. In lieu of flowers, family requests any donations be made to Hendrick Hospice of Abilene, 1682 Hickory, Abilene, Texas, 79601.
