B.J. (Bill) Lawhon, age 84, of Sweetwater, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
Masonic graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Garden of Memories with the Sweetwater Masonic Lodge #571 A.F. and A.M. officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
William Hollis Robison, age 82, of Salado, Texas, passed away peacefully on Jan. 20, 2013. He was born on Sept. 9, 1930, to William and Laura Mae Robison in the small town of Shallowater, Texas. After several moves in his childhood, the family made Sweetwater, Texas their home. He attended Sweetwater High School and served as Senior Class President in 1948. From there, he attended McMurray College in Abilene where he worked as a soda jerk at the local drug store.
