Roy Emanuel Harris went to be with his Lord on March 25, 2014. He was a loving father and grandfather. He lived life to the fullest, living by the mottoÂ âIF MAN MADE IT, I CAN FIX IT.â
He was preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Margaret Harris; first wife, Ruth; second wife, Carmel; son, Larry Joe Harris; and grandson, Brian Harris.
He is survived by daughter, Ginger Davis; son-in-law, Arthur Davis; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Starnes and Chris Wilson.
A gravesite service will be at the Garden of Memories in Sweetwater on April 12, 2014 at 11:30 a.m.
Mark Davis Crawford, 58, of Sweetwater, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo. His body was cremated and no further services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Crawford was born June 11, 1955 in Ayres, Massachusetts. He married Debby Jo Byrne on Dec. 17, 2006 in Anson.
He was a Baptist. Mark was a welder most of his life and lived in Anson for the past 17 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era.
Funeral services for Ronnie Lee Gardner, 63, of Sweetwater will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Salem Lutheran Church in Roscoe. Rev. Dean Quade and Rev. Pat Quade will officiate. Interment will follow at Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014, at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Gardner died Friday, March 28, 2014, at Hendrick Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 21, 1951, in Fisher County.
Mrs. Martha A. Bland, 72, of Jacksonville, AR was the first born of the late Alfred and Grace Willoughby. She went to be with her Lord and friends Sunday afternoon, March 23, 2014. She was born in Sweetwater on June 5, 1941, where she grew up and graduated from Newman High School in 1959. She attended Daughonâs School of Business College in Abilene for one year and met and fell in love with Teddy R. Bland, an Air Force Airman.

He was cremated. No further services are planned.

Funeral services for Rev. William Walter Mayo, 83, of Sweetwater will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Evangelical Methodist Church. Rev. Ronnie Newton will officiate and interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Evangelical Methodist Church.
Mayo died Monday, March 24, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Abernathy. He married Joyce Vesta Amerson on Aug. 25, 1951, in Lakeview.
Funeral services for Margaret Jane (Thomas) âPeggyâ Lawrence, 89, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 28, at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater. Dr. Robert Singleton, son-in-law of the deceased will officiate at the services. Interment will be alongside her life-long mate, Lt. Col. Retired Charles William âLarryâ Lawrence, Sr. at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene and will be under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Peggy died Monday, March 24, 2014 following a brief illness at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.
Stephenville â Graveside services for Joyce Marie Lowry, 78, a retired beautician, who died Saturday, March 22, 2014, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Joyce was born on Dec. 23, 1935, to Maurice and Ada Mae (Anderson) Fields. She married Boyd Neal Lowry on August 14, 1954, in Fairy, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2014. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Myrl Frazier, age 77, of Sweetwater, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Merkel Nursing Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Clay Jacobson officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Amado Rios, 70, of San Angelo, passed away on March 13, 2014 in San Angelo.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Robert Massie Funeral Home with the Pastor Daniel Olivan of Segunda Iglesia Bautista, officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Amado was born in Colorado City to Domingo and Isidra Rios on Sept. 13, 1943. He married Juanita Perez on Jan. 24, 2004. He worked as a mechanic for all of his adult life. He was involved in his church and played bass for the church band.
