Weldon D. Peeples, 78, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, Nov.30, 2010, in a local hospital. In honor of Weldon's request, there will be no memorial service for him.
He was born on Aug. 15, 1932, in Roby, Texas. He served for four years in the United States Navy and retired from the appraisal district in Big Spring.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Edwin and Barbara Peeples of Harrisonville, Missouri; and one sister, Gracie Williams of Roby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sabra Peeples; one brother, Milton Peeples; and one sister, Ramona Peeples.
A graveside service for Tyra Scott, infant daughter of Robyn Woody and Frank Scott, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at Sweetwater Cemetery.
Scott died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. She was born Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 in Sweetwater.
Kenneth R. Smith, age 76, of Sweetwater, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home with Lester Cavitt officiating. Burial will follow at Roby Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Michael P. Rasor was born on April 10, 1958, in Sweetwater, TX. Heaven received this angel on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, from his Irving home with soul mate, mother, brothers, family and friends. He is preceded in death by father, Clealen Rasor and surviving mother, Jessie Rasor of Lake Hawkins, TX.
He is survived by soul mate Linda Sue Geer-Rasor, born in Sweetwater, TX and living in Irving, TX;Â brothers, David Brooks of Bastrop, TX and Kenneth Rasor and wife Jo Ann Rasor of Dallas, TX; step daughters, Sammi Murdock and Debra Golightly and husband Steve Golightly of Irving, TX.
ROBY- Lee Roy Goolsby, 77, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at a Lubbock hospital.Â Services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Roby with Bro. Jerry Vincent officiating.Â Burial will follow in Roby Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.Â Visitation will be Thursday from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rosa Lavell Bredemeyer, age 92, of Roscoe, Texas, passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Roscoe Cemetery with Pastor Curtis Ward officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010.

Bills died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.
He was born April 1, 1927, in Coahoma, Texas. He married Mary Margaret Looby on Oct. 3, 1967, in Big Spring. He worked for J.W. McCutchens Oil Field Company for 35 years. He lived in Sweetwater most of his life.
Funeral services for Ellen Hoskins, 85, of Sweetwater, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Keith Clower officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Hoskins died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, in Sweetwater.
Marie Dunlap Richardson, 97, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Richardson was born on May 17, 1913, in Nolan, Texas. She was the eldest of seven children born to Robert Pleas and Mary Effie Dunlap.
She was Valedictorian of her graduating class at Divide High School, attended Abilene Christian College, taught school for one year and retired after 30 years in the credit department at Montgomery Wards. She was a longtime member of the Altamesa Church of Christ.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years; her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
