Polly Wright, 78, passed away April 14, 2013 in Tulsa, Okla. Funeral services for Polly will be Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Broadway Baptist Church in Sweetwater, with Pastor Wayne Taylor officiating and assisting will be Pastor Chris Stephens and Pastor James Baker. Interment will follow services at Sweetwater Cemetery. Family visitation will be Tuesday, April 16, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
Bill Kennedy died peacefully in his sleep, Monday, April 15, at his home in Sweetwater after a short illness. Bill was 88 years old.
GRANBURY — Melissa Haygood Jacks, 56, of Granbury, passed from this life to her great reward in Heaven, on April 14, 2013 in her home in Granbury, surrounded by her family.
Service will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Stonewater Church in Granbury.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Deleon Cemetery in Deleon, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to fund mission trips with Stonewater Church of Granbury.

Funeral services for Pauline (Polly) Wright, 78, of Sweetwater, are pending with McCoy Funeral Home.
Wright died Sunday, April 14, 2013, in Tulsa, Okla.
Memorial services for Roy Gene Schroedter, 63, of Sweetwater, will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with pastor Chester McCown officiating.
Schroedter died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services for Armeta Sansing, 75, of Roscoe, are pending with McCoy Funeral Home.
Sansing died Sunday, April 14, 2013, in Lubbock.
April 13th
ROTAN – William “Bill” Harris King, 72, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at his residence. Arrangements were made with Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Services will be at a later date.
Bill was born Oct. 27, 1940, to R.L. and Dovie Waldine (White) King at Little Rock, Ark. He lived in Snyder until moving to Rotan in 1980. Bill then moved to Las Vegas, Nev. and then to Sweetwater in 2003. He was a devoted friend and was always willing to help others in any manner.Â
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Merrie King and Tammie King; and one sister, Brenda Morris.
Harold Duvall, age 83, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Sweetwater.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Roscoe with Reverend Juanelle Jordan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Johanna DeJong Collins, 96, of Sweetwater, passed away on April 10, 2013.
Jo was born in Springfield, S.D. on Nov. 15, 1916. She graduated from Springfield High School and continued on to receive a teaching degree from Southern State Teachers College in Springfield, S.D. and a Bachelor's degree in education from Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb.
A private family memorial service is planned with local arrangements by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Fidel Hernandez Acosta, age 39, of Roscoe, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, in Nolan County from a vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be held in Marivillas, Coahuila, Mexico. Burial will be at Municipal Cemetery in Marivillas, Coahuila, Mexico. Local arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
