Holy Mass of Christian Burial for Joe A. Ramirez, 52, of Colorado City will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Michael Rodriguez. Interment is at Sweetwater Cemetery, under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater. Rosary will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 4 p.m. at McCoy Chapel of Memories. The rosary will be recited by Pauline Gauna and Connie Palacios.
Mr. Ramirez died Sunday, April 17, 2011, in Sweetwater.
A graveside service for Shirley Irene Smith, 64, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Cedar Gap Cemetery in Abilene with Rev. Lewis Smith officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Smith died Sunday, April 17, 2011, in Sweetwater.
She was born Dec. 13, 1946, in Abilene. She married Robert Smith on March 25, 1995, in Sweetwater. Shirley had lived in Sweetwater for the past 10 years and in Abilene before. She was a cook by trade and was a member of the New Life Tabernacle Church in Sweetwater.

Funeral services for Juanita Marie Dickerson, 82, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2011, at Avondale Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Shuttlesworth officiating. Interment will follow at Newman Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Dickerson died Thursday, April 14, 2011, in Abilene.

Ronald Gene Howell
ARLINGTON — Ronald Gene Howell, 79, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Arlington.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Fielder Road Baptist Church, 2011 S. Fielder Road in Arlington. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 15, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Luis Caballero Pineda, 72,of Colorado City, TX, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Robert Lee Care Center in Robert Lee, Tx. Luis was cremated. The family will have a private family memorial service at a later date. All arrangements are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Barbara Joan Warvie, 77, of Sweetwater, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at her residence.
Her body was cremated and a service is planned for a later date.
Warvie was born June 28, 1933, in La Mesa, N.M. She had lived in Sweetwater since April of 2010 and in Tucumcari, N.M. over 20 years before that. She had worked as a cook and retired after 25 years of service.

Sharon Sue Ford, 56, of Sweetwater, died Monday, April 11, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Ford was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ford was born April 20, 1954, in New Orleans, La. She married Glen Ford in Houma, La. Sharon was a Certified Nurse's Aide and was very compassionate about helping and caring for others. She had also worked for Popeye's Chicken in Sweetwater. She had lived in Sweetwater from 2006 until 2008 and Tyler, Texas before. She was a Baptist.

Vera Aucutt, age 84, of Roscoe, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.Â
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Sweetwater, Texas with Rev. David Weyant officiating. Burial will follow at Roscoe Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.Â
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 11, 2011, from 6-8 p.m.Â
