Kathleen Jo Frazier, 85 of Marshall, passed away March 27, 2011. She was born March 1, 1926, in McCulloch County, Texas to Harvey Shields and Alberta Sikes Shields.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving Kathleen are two daughters, Doris Coleman of Marshall and Laverne Bryant of Sweetwater; son, Wayne Adkison of Rock Springs, Wyoming; sisters, Marvaleen Kildore, Francis Cryer and Joyce Reagan, of Oklahoma; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, G.L. Shields.
March 28th
Kenneth B. Ellis, age 59, of Trent, Texas passed away March 27, 2011, at his residence with his loved ones around him.  Â
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Lamar Street Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.Â
March 26th
Charles (CP) Davis was born on October 11, 1929 in Normangee, TX and entered Heaven’s gates on March 24, 2011.
CP grew up in Sweetwater, TX and graduated from Newman High School in 1947. After graduation he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. He was drafted and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In 1961, CP moved to Oklahoma City where he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration until his retirement on October 12, 1989. He loved camping, fishing, bowling, roller skating and was an avid bird watcher.Â
Lou Edna Blair, age 89, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.Â
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011, at Broadway Baptist Church with Rev. James Baker officiating, assisted by Rev. Chris Stephens. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.Â
Lou Edna Blair was born April 17, 1921 in Nolan County, Texas to Samuel Christopher and Mary Belt (Stout) Cox. She married James Milam Blair in Sweetwater, Texas.Â
Ruth Barton passed away on March 25, 2011, in Sweetwater, Texas surrounded by her children. She was 86. She was born on January 27, 1925 in Bingham Canyon, Utah. She met her husband of almost 65 years, Adrian Barton, in Salt Lake City during World War II. They married one month after they met just before he shipped out to the South Pacific. After the war they made their home in Sweetwater. Adrian passed away on September 17, 2009.

Holy Mass of Christian burial for Santiago Bugarin, Sr., 76, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Michael Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, march 25, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories, recited by Pauline Gauna.
Bugarin died Thursday, March 24, 2011, in Abilene.

Funeral services for Barbara Aguilar, 60, of Colorado City, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Arrangements are pending with Kiker-Seale Funeral Home in Colorado City.
C.H. Campbell, age 93, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.Â
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2011, at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.Â
C.H. Campbell was born May 25, 1917, in Palava, Texas to Walter P. and Ethel F. Campbell. He was a Baptist. He worked for T&P Railway for many years before retiring.Â
He married Jewel F. Stone on August 26, 1939 in Roby, Texas.    Â
Dorothy Jean Wagoner, 62, of Colorado City, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Christian Temple Church in Colorado City, with Rev. Bobby Matlock and Rev. Kelvin Brown officiating. Family visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2011 at the funeral home.

Vivian Parrish Collett James, age 80, passed away on March 17, 2011, after a long battle with lung cancer.
A graveside service was held in Ranger on Saturday, March 19, 2011, with Rev. Jack Pinkerton officiating, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger.
