Glenn Tierce Whitfill, age 81, of Sweetwater, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Abilene Regional Medical Center.Â
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at First Christian Church with Pastor David Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 6-8 p.m.

L.D. “Snake“ Gatson, age 77, of Eastland, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Eastland.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, at 2 p.m. at the Eastland City Cemetery with Rev. Danny Brown officiating. Services are under the direction of the Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland.
Funeral services for Larry Vance, 59, of Sweetwater, are pending with McCoy Funeral Home.
Vance died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Hendrick Medical center in Abilene.

Funeral services for Thaddie Eloise Buchanan, 88, of San Angelo and formerly of Nolan, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Billy Oliver officiating. Interment will follow at Slater's Chapel Cemetery in Nolan under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011, at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Buchanan died Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in San Angelo.
Iva Jo Cooper, formerly of Sweetwater, Texas passed away at a Weatherford nursing home on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at age of 86. Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Cotten-Bratton Chapel in Weatherford, Texas. Internment will be at Buckner Cemetery near Dennis, Texas. John Herington, Minister of North Main Church of Christ will be officiating.
Robert “Bob” Karwedsky, 83, went to be with the Lord, Monday, Feb. 28, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. Pastor James Williams will be officiating .
Addie Emmaline Simms Mahoney passed away on Tuesday evening, March 1, 2011, at her son’s home in Sweetwater. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Loraine, TX, with Rev. James McLeod officiating. There will be a family visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011, at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home in Colorado City. Interment will be at Lone Wolf Cemetery, near Hermleigh, TX.

Sandra Jean Frazier, 72, was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Harlingen, Texas. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Chapel of Memories at Sweetwater. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Rev. J.T. Tucker officiating. Arrangements are made with McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
Funeral services for Mable Cordelia Hankins, 90, of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories, with Rev. Chris Stephens and Rev. James Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Hankins died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Nolan Nursing and Rehab in Sweetwater.
Funeral services for Luvera R. Ponder, 81, of San Augustine, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine with Alton Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in San Augustine under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.
Ponder died Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, in San Augustine.
