Pauline Byrd
Pauline Byrd, age 85, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at Fourth and Elm Church of Christ with Mike Crowley officiating. Burial will follow at Palava Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Oleta Worsham, age 85, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. James Baker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Joyce Mae Dhane Harris, age 67, a resident for the past five years at Kristi Lee Manor, passed away at Mitchell County Hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Kiker-Seale Chapel. Rev. Tommy Fraley will officiate with cremation to follow. Services are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
February 20th
Mary Etta O’Donald, 94, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Hendrick Medical Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Roby Church of Christ with Darrell “Speedy” Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sweetwater, directed by Abilene Funeral Home. Viewing will be Thursday from noon until service time at the church in Roby.
Mrs. O’Donald was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Fisher County, Texas to the late Watson Mann and Martha Cary McCain. She was a member of the Roby Church of Christ.
February 19th
Funeral services for Wynona SoRelle Pickett, 86, of Sweetwater, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Mike Crowley officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Pickett died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, in Sweetwater.
February 18th
Funeral services for Craig Parker, 42, of Sweetwater, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Tommie J. Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation and wake will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at McCoy Chapel of Memories from 6-8 p.m.
Parker died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
Victor Hartgraves, age 83, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services are pending at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
John Thomas Hyde, 67, of Nolan, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Sweetwater. Rev. Billy Oliver will be officiating funeral services, with Rev Vic Meyer assisting. There will be a visitation on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at McCoy Funeral Home.
William (Bill) Parker Blackley, 43, of Roscoe, TX passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater, TX of an apparent heart attack.
Bill was born September 20, 1969 in Bryan, TX and moved to Roscoe, TX with his parents, Jim and Kay Blackley, in 1975.
Bill graduated from Roscoe High School in 1988. He studied at Western Texas College in Snyder, TX before completing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish from Sul Ross University in Alpine, TX.
Pauline Smith Heine, age 105, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013, at Sweetwater Healthcare in Sweetwater, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 19, at the Church of Christ in Roscoe, Texas, with Royce Clay, Jr. and Dan Boren officiating. Interment will follow at the Roscoe Cemetery. McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater is in charge of arrangements.
