Rosa Martinez, age 85, of Sweetwater, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, in Sweetwater.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Shane Gholson, age 39, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, in San Angelo, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at Normandy Avenue Church of Christ with Mike Ensminger officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Kinston---Wendy Butler Wade, 49, of Kinston, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011. Wendy was born Feb. 16, 1961, in Cisco, Texas to Clyde Butler of Sweetwater, TX and the late Patricia Ann Wallace Butler. In addition to her mother, Wendy was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Rufus F. Wade; daughter, Kassi Wade; and sister, Cindy Foster. Wendy graduated from the Lenoir Community College School Of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse with 3HC. Wendy was passionate about nursing and treated her patients as family.
Services for Evelyn Estelle Hillyard , 89, of Kaufman, TX, are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Bro. Dan Baum officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Memories in Canton under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.
She passed away Jan. 26, 2011, in Kaufman, TX.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Wandalene Louise (Rinehart) Moore, (Wanda Moore), age 82 of Sweetwater, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Maria "Vickie" Castillo, 58, of Sweetwater, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, in Mt. Pleasant, TX.
Services were held at Curry-Wellborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, with Pastor Joshue Luna officiating. Interment was at Neville's Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Castillo was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on Feb. 29, 1952, the daughter of Benito Castillo and Gregoria Najera Castillo.

Jessie Jack (Horne) Payne, age 94, of San Antonio, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at Vitas Morningside Manor in San Antonio, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Thomas officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Lillian Darrellyn "Lillie" Burwick, five months old, of Blackwell, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2011, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Daniel Dotson officiating. Interment will follow at Blackwell Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Burwick died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 21, 2010, in Abilene.

Juanita Louise “Nita” Clayton, age 89, passed away at Brownwood Regional Medical Hospital in Brownwood, Texas on Wednesday, January 12, 2011.
Family visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, January 14, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Odessa, Texas, with Brother Bob Blazek officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her six grandsons, Ramsey Fowler, Brent Clayton, Todd Pruett, Will Pruett, Eric Crane and Larry Crane.

Dr. Clark Johnson died Monday, January 17, 2011 in Lubbock , Texas at the age of 86. He was born January 10, 1925 in Denison , Texas to Clark and Estelle (Ivie) Johnson. His formal education began in a two room rural school at Muncy, in Floyd County, Texas. After one year there the family moved back to Sherman , Texas . He graduated from Sherman High School in 1941 and began his college career at Austin College in Sherman . After one year there he transferred to the University of Texas where he continued his pre-medical studies. In 1943 he joined the U. S.
