Donald Richard De Vore, age 75, of Sweetwater, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his residence.
His body was cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Donald was born on Feb. 5, 1939, in Midland, Texas to Thomas Asbury and Martha Alva (Ware) De Vore. He was a Baptist. He worked at Edwards Air Force Base as a computer technician before retiring.
Graveside services for Billy Joe Glenn, 88, of Sweetwater will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Sweetwater Cemetery. Rev. James Barker will officiate and interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 4-6 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
Glenn died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
Funeral services for Christopher Limones, 29, of Roscoe will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at McCoy Chapel of Memories. Pastor Francisco Ortega will officiate and interment will follow at Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at McCoy Chapel of Memories.
Limones died, Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in Irion County.
He was born June 27, 1984, in Sidney, Montana.
Darrell L. âBuzâ Wilson, 87 of Blackwell, Texas entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, surrounded by his loved ones. Graveside services, with full Military Honors, will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Blackwell Cemetery in Blackwell, Texas. Pastor Daniel Dotson, First Baptist Church Blackwell, Texas will be officiating, under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Betty Elaine Jones, of New Braunfels, passed away peacefully at home with her sisters by her side on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the age of 67. She was born in Roscoe to parents Woodrow and Lena Mae Smith on May 19, 1946. She married Cliff Jones, a fellow classmate since first grade of elementary school, in August of 1967. They had been married almost 47 years. Betty was a school teacher and librarian and worked at schools in Midland, San Diego, CA, Lubbock, Odom, Bellville and New Braunfels. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife.
Roscoe, Texas âÂ Lisa Ann Clifton Bowman was born Feb. 13, 1954, in Sweetwater. She died April 27, 2014, in Sweetwater. Lisa graduated from Hermleigh High School and married Ricky Bowman on Aug. 10, 1974, at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Sweetwater. Lisa was a homemaker and her life centered around her family. The Ricky and Lisa Bowman farm recently received the 100 years of continuous family farming by the Texas Department of Agriculture.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Billy J. Clifton on April 17, 1998.
Jack Leonard, 78, of Abilene, passed away in the early morning of April 25, 2014 in Abilene, Texas.
Visitation was from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home on Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014, at the Wylie United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jeff Hatcher of the Wylie United Methodist Church conducting the services. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Vera Hamilton passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Nolan Nursing and Rehab Center in Sweetwater. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Slaterâs Chapel Cemetery at Nolan, Texas with Reverend Keith Clower officiating. Services are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hamilton was born in Tisdale, Sash, Canada and moved at an early age to Prince George, B.C. Canada. She married Buck Hamilton on Sept. 3, 1968 and she became a U.S. citizen in 1971.
On the morning of April 22, 2014, Billy Wayne âBillâ Marsh peacefully passed away at his recent home in Douglasville, GA.
