A graveside service for Alvin Wayne Smith, 82, of Tyler, will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Feb. 10, 2013, at Newman Cemetery in Fisher County with his family officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, at McCoy Funeral Home, located at 401 E. Third Street in Sweetwater.
Smith died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Veterans Hospital in Temple.
Harold Waggoner, age 76, of Sweetwater, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at Hylton Cemetery with Mike Ensminger officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Harold was born on Sept. 1, 1936, in Hylton, Texas to William Floyd and Zora D. (Stewart) Waggoner. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Masonic graveside services for Harvey A. Nash, 101, of Sweetwater, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sweetwater. Members from Sweetwater Masonic Lodge #571 will officiate with interment to follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Nash died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.

Funeral services for Elba Jane Sanders, 76, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Eric Horton officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, at McCoy Funeral Home.

Thersa Verdell McKnight Stifflemire, 89, of Sweeny, Texas, passed away on Monday Feb. 4, 2013, at Emerus Hospital in Sugarland, Texas.
She was born on June 18, 1923, in Kelsey, Texas to Samuel McKnight and Gladys Corilla Luton.

Stanley W. Pieper, age 71, of Sweetwater, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at Roscoe First Baptist Church with Rev. Adam Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Roscoe Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Robert E. âBobâ Drake, 84, a long-time resident of Roscoe, died Feb. 4, 2013, in Sweetwater, with family by his side.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at McCoy Funeral Chapel of Memories, located at 401 E. 3rd Street in Sweetwater, with burial at Sweetwater Cemetery. Pastor Chester McCown will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

James Edward Reich, 54, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. James, better known as Jim, was born April 17, 1958 in Sweetwater. He was a 1976 graduate of Sweetwater High School and attended Angelo State University, graduating in 1980. He was employed by Bob Parr at the former Trend Furniture. After working for Knox Supply Company a short time, he moved to Orlando, Fla. to work for the La Z Boy Corporation. During his 19 years with La Z Boy, the franchise grew to five stores with Jim managing the warehousing, deliveries and claims departments.

EASTLAND â O.C. âSpotâ Hale, 101, of Eastland, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 in Eastland. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Daugherty St. Church of Christ with Larry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastland City Cemetery directed by Edwards Funeral Home.
Nita Faye Clark Giesler, 81, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in Boerne, Texas, of complications from a hip fracture. She was a native of Sweetwater, Texas and was born April 13, 1931, to Garland Felix (G.F.) and Helen Sawyer Clark. Nita attended Sweetwater High School.Â
Nita married Daniel Lee (Dan) Giesler in the First United Methodist Church, Colorado City, Texas, June 28, 1948. Married for 64 years, they were always best friends; their bond was a partnership forged from love and laughter, enduring through lifeâs hardships and trials.
