Needing a win for a shot at the playoffs, Sweetwaterâs volleyball team instead saw its season end here Tues-day as Wylie came to Mus-tang Gym and swept away the Lady Mustangs in three games 25-13, 25-20, 25-18.
Wylie, the district cham-pion, is 8-0 and 35-6 overall while Sweetwater ends its year at 3-5, 19-19. Despite the loss, coach Liz Miller said her team made significant progress this season. âThis was a very good group to work with,â she said, âand we have a lot to look forward to next year.â
