October 5, 2011

After losing at Brown-wood in four games Friday, Sweetwater at one point appeared to be headed for the same fate in Tuesday’s district home match with Snyder.
But after falling behind 2-1 with back-to-back los-ses of 25-22 and 25-19, Sweetwater (17-16 season, 1-2 district) won 25-14 to force a Game 5 and wrapped up its first win in District 5-3A play with a dominating 15-5 triumph.
Kelsi Crosson had 12 kills, 14 digs and three aces for the Lady Mustangs, who were trailing 20-9 at one point in Game 3 before winning 50 of the final 74 points.
