The Sweewater High School freshman boys basketball team plays its final home game today. The team, which hosts Brownwood at 6 p.m., has a 12-6 season record and is 3-3 in district with two games left. Sweetwater High School’s basketball teams will wel-come Brownwood to Mus-tang Gym today for the final varsity doubleheader of the 2011-12 season with little more than pride at stake.
Today’s game will also end the season for the SHS girls, who are 1-6 in district and 15-17 overall. The Lady Mustangs, who are sched-uled to tip off at 6 p.m., are facing a Brownwood team that has a 5-2 district mark and clinched the No. 2 play-off spot this past Friday by defeating Big Spring 40-26.
