Against Miles, which is a state-ranked Class A team, Sweetwater won by scores of 25-17, 27-25, 25-20 to improve to 20-10 — its first 20-win season since the Lady Mustangs’ last playoff appearance four years ago.
Kaegan Jeffrey is the Football Player of the Week for Sweetwater. The 200-pound sophomore quarterback was 17-of-22 passing for 227 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 49 yards and a TD on 7 carries in a win over Breckenridge.
