SWEETWATER
A Lady Mustang Bas-ketball Camp will be held June 3-6 at the middle school gym on 305 Lamar Street. The camp is for students who have completed grades 2-8. The camp sessions will be from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost of $35 includes a T-shirt. Pre-registration is appreciated.
A concession stand will be available. The camp’s goal is to improve players’ skills through instruction in individual skills and fun team competitions.
Three senior all-district members of this year’s Sweetwater High School baseball team — Sean Morrow, Cole Maxwell and Shawn Campbell — have been chosen to play in a high school all-star game on June 2 at Lub-bock Cooper’s Pirate Field in Woodrow. They will be playing for the East team in the Class 3A East-West all-star game that is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
SHS head coach Roland Herrera will serve as a coach for the East squad, along with Big Spring’s Bert Otto.
Closing ceremonies for the Sweetwater Fastpitch Softball Association will be Tuesday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jerry Collins Softball Complex. Also, closing ceremonies for Sweet-water Little League will be Wednesday, May 29 from 5-9 at the city pool (T-Ball through Junior League).

The Sweetwater Little Rattlers 8-and-under softball team placed sixth out of 29 teams at a district tournament held in Abilene, and also took first place in their age division during the regular season.

BROADWAY BAPTIST CHURCH
As a family we loved to bowl. We would bowl on evening leagues, and I had the privilege of bowling on a Saturday morning youth league. Our team was so good. We were never challenged for last place, but we always had fun!
