Sweetwater and Andrews, who have played memorable games since they first met as district rivals in the 1980s, produced a non-district classic on Friday. When the dust had settled, the visiting Mustangs (Sweetwater) had a 39-31 win after holding off a fourth-quarter rally by the host Mustangs (Andrews), leaving both teams with identical 1-1 records.
It was a shootout from the start, complete with several huge momentum shifts on both sides.

BROADWAY BAPTIST CHURCH
James reminds us that life is nothing more than a vapor, here one minute and gone the next. We make big plans, talk of big activities, and schedule a lot of appointments only to realize that those appointments are “tentative.” The plans we make are only temporary and for the most part uncertain. Life is very unpredictable, and little is sure. It has been said that the best laid plans of mice and men are never for certain.
