The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 158 calls for service, issued ten citations and made nine arrests from April 5-7, 2013.
The SPD received 77, 911 calls.

Halfway to the playoffs.
If the season ended today, Sweetwater High Schoolâ€™s baseball and softball teams would be in the postseason.
But theyâ€™re not there yet.
However, the SHS base-ball team is tied for first place at the midpoint of dis-trict and can get even closer to a playoff berth today if the Mustangs (4-1 in district) win at Greenwood (1-4) today. The game begins at 7 p.m.
Sweetwater had a total of four match wins Friday at the District 4-3A tennis tournament that was held at Big Spring.
First-round winners were Isaiah Hernandez in boys singles, Bax-Vause in boys doubles and Jenny Medellin and Kristen Casto in girls doubles before they lost in the second round.
Hernandez defeated a Snyder player 7-5, 6-3 while Bax and Vause won 6-1, 6-2 over Greenwood. Medellin won 3-6, 6-2 (10-8) vs. Snyder, and Casto won 6-1, 6-0 vs. Monahans.
It's still hot today, but it might not last too long. We'll see a high near 90 today with mostly sunny skies and southwest winds around 15 mph. Gusts could be as high as 25 mph.
Tonight before 11 p.m., we should see a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, and some of them could be sever. Expect partly cloudy skies with a low around 43 and northwestern winds at 5 to 10 mph. In the evening, winds will shift to the north at 15 to 20 mph, with gusts topping out at 30 mph.

Two people were killed and one injured in a one vehicle rollover crash that occurred in Nolan County on Friday evening at 6:10 p.m.Â The crash was located on Farm Road 608, 7/10 of a mile east of mile marker 308, near the community of Maryneal.Â

Fidel Hernandez Acosta, age 39, of Roscoe, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, in Nolan County from a vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be held in Marivillas, Coahuila, Mexico. Burial will be at Municipal Cemetery in Marivillas, Coahuila, Mexico. Local arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Jesus Herrera Aldavera, 21, of Roscoe and formerly of Mexico, will be held in Mexico at a future date.
Local arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Aldavera died Friday, April 5, 2013, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.
Memorial services for Harold Duvall, 83, of Roscoe, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Roscoe with Rev. Juanelle Jordan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Duvall died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Hoyt House in Sweetwater.
