Southern Belle Salon, located at 200 Main Street in Roscoe, had their ribbon cutting on Tuesday morning. Owner/operator Eden Baker had her salon's grand opening on June 3. When asked why she decided to open a salon in Roscoe, Eden said, "I grew up here. I've lived my whole life in Roscoe."
Yandell Toland, Eden's grandmother, was a beautician in Sweetwater for many years.
We felt her kicks for 9 months,Â
She filled our hearts with love,Â
And so we named her AngelÂ
A gift from God above.Â
We never got to hear your voice,Â
Or see you smile.Â
If we could take a trip to heavenÂ
We’d walk a million miles.Â
Trust that God is holding you as we try to keep our heads up high.Â
One day we will meet again in heaven our precious Angel Skye.Â
Angel Skye Martinez was born on July 2, at 7:38 a.m.Â
