Although the Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium is over 80 years old, it continues to be a viable part of the community, serving as the location of the Miss Snakecharmer pageant and Municipal Band Christmas concert every year, as well as a venue for a variety of musicians and performers and community events. In fact, the building’s age brings a lot of character and beauty to it that it wouldn’t have otherwise.
